Course 5:

Island Style on Global Warming: A Connectivism Approach to Learning the Direct Effects of Global Warming in Hawai'i

Unlike Course 1 and 2 developed using the LMS Canvas, this course was design in a Massive Open Online Course format. Courses can be made available to the public or privately and is not confined to one learning organization. This course is more developed in a similar format of a webpage.

Inspiration for this course was from global warmings and its impact to the Hawaiian Islands. This e-learning design would involve a connectivism approach of learning by creating an online learning course in Canvas. The course provides detailed modules describing the direct impacts of global warming in Hawaii and what needs to be done in order to protect the livelihoods of the people living on the island.
